The principle of electromagnetic measurement is based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, in which an electromotive force is generated in proportion to the flow velocity when a conductive fluid crosses a magnetic field.

The ARTang electromagnetic flowmeter is an advanced instrument designed for the exact measurement of volumetric flow in electrically conductive fluids, such as liquids, slurries, and pastes. The ARTang can be configured with different electrode materials and liners to withstand a wide range of process conditions, including corrosive environments and high temperatures. This makes it an ideal solution for industries such as chemical processing, oil and gas, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
